11/1 Tinkercad 3D Printer Object Design: Castle

I had fun creating my castle. First, I put out one cylinder to make a tower. I added a a cone to the top to complete it. I had to look at the tower from all sides, especially the underside, in order to align the cone properly on top of the cylinder. I moved it down to meet the cylinder, and adjusted the size. I then duplicated the tower three times, and added a box in the middle to connect all of the towers. I decided the castle needed to be taller, but I didn't want to raise the height of the box above the tower cones. I added another smaller box on top that only touched the cones at the edges. I then added a center tower on top of the small box. My final addition to the castle was a set of doors on both sides. I used the box tool again, making two small long boxes that pierce through either side of the castle. It looked complete, but seemed to need one more thing. I decided to add a staircase the would allow access to the castle on all sides. I grouped the castle components together so I could move them as one, and raised the castle in space. I added the stairs one by one underneath the castle, making sure that they all touched. I grouped the stairs with the castle, and moved the entire piece down to meet the flat grid plane.

Tinkercad seems quite intuitive for me so long as I use basic building shapes to make architectural pieces. When I attempted to make something more organic with the scribble feature, things got much more complicated and difficult.
