12/1 Circuit Drawing : Doctor Who Tardis in Galaxy
1. Ren and I made the circuit on the green paper below using the simplest circuit model.
2. We made our tardis drawing and stars in oil pastel.
3. We painted our galaxy using gouache paints. The oil pastel on the tardis and on the stars act as water resists. We did this to create a 3D/ popping out effect and to avoid colors spilling into places we didn't want them.
4. We cut a hole where the light would pop out for the top of the tardis, cut off a corner of the painting, and cut out a hole on the painting near the edge of the corner cut. This hole exposes the negative end of the conductor tape.
5. We taped the green circuit paper to the back of the painting
6. We glued the positive side of the battery to the positive end of the circuit/conductor tape on a folded corner of the green paper
7. We folded the glued battery back onto the negative end of the conductor tape, exposed on the painting because of the hole we cut.
8. We took a video of us pressing the battery down onto the negative end of the conductor tape, and edited in the tardis noise.
